It all starts with the dirt…

My passion for flowers goes back to when I was a little girl, spending time in the garden with my mom. She had a compost pile before it was popular and taught me that beautiful flowers start with good dirt. Dirt Floral Works was founded with this in mind. Unusual name? Yes. Memorable? I hope so.

I’ve studied floral design both locally and in London at Judith Blacklock’s renowned flower school in Knightsbridge and McQueens Flower School in Mayfair. While in the UK, I was fortunate to learn from some of the best floral designers in the world including Henck Röling and Yan Skates of Netflix’s Big Flower Fight. At Dirt Floral Works, designs range from classic to very contemporary, with much of my inspiration drawn from the beautiful gardens of Europe. I favor locally sourced products whenever possible and am a big believer in using hard goods (vases, planters, etc.) that had another life before being incorporated into my designs.

Whether you're planning a wedding, celebrating a birthday, marking a special anniversary, staging a home, or opening a new business, I'm looking forward to chatting with you!
